New Branding and More

There has been an endless number of possibilities for Codetoy going forward and for the past few weeks I've been mulling over them again and again. Additionally, I kept feeling quite bothered at the logo for Codetoy. While the old logo was serving it's purpose it would not scale well in the long term. I needed something that would give off the right vibe and was immediately recognizable at small sizes.

After a few weeks of contemplation (and plenty of manga binge reading) I finally found some clarity and have figured out many things. To kick things off Codetoy has had a full website facelift as well as a brand new logo design!

(Old logo) Old Codetoy logo

Changelog

  • Site wide dark mode has now been updated to be darker and more modern
  • Navbar has had a major facelift and works much better than before

  • Editor design has had a major facelift

This blog post was written on March 6, but I just never got around to publishing it until March 10. I need to get a proper blog system because the current one requires a lot of manual work, I'll probably work on that soon.
